School-Age Children

Support for communication, regulation, learning, development, and connection.

School-age children often face challenges that extend beyond a single diagnosis or skill area. Difficulties with communication, learning, behavior, attention, sensory processing, or emotional regulation can influence every aspect of daily life.

I work with children and families to better understand the patterns affecting participation, confidence, relationships, learning, and overall well-being.

Common Reasons Families Reach Out

  • Speech and language delays

  • Articulation and speech sound disorders

  • Motor planning challenges

  • Social communication differences

  • Autism

  • ADHD

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Sensory sensitivities or overwhelm

  • Anxiety, stress, or shutdown

  • Behavioral challenges

  • Developmental delays

  • Learning difficulties

  • Regression following illness, stress, or life transitions

  • Families who feel something is being missed despite previous evaluations or therapy

My Approach

My work integrates speech-language pathology, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, developmental support, reflex integration, and nervous system-informed care.

Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, I look at how communication, regulation, movement, body awareness, sensory processing, relationships, and development influence one another.

Sessions are individualized and may include communication support, developmental activities, parent coaching, movement-based strategies, nervous system regulation, and body-based approaches.

Looking Beyond the Symptom

A child may come to therapy for speech, behavior, attention, learning, feeding, or emotional challenges. While these concerns are important, they are often connected to broader patterns within the nervous system and developmental foundations.

My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms. It is to better understand what may be contributing to those challenges and support the child's overall capacity for communication, regulation, learning, and connection.

Getting Started

The first step is an initial consultation. Together we'll discuss your concerns, answer questions, and determine whether this approach is a good fit for your child and family.

Meaningful change begins with understanding.

Helping infants, children, and adults find greater ease in communication, feeding, movement, regulation, and connection.
